Viralize Raises Seed Funding

Viralize, a Florence, Italy-based platform for social distribution of branded videos, recently raised a seed funding from Club Italia Investimenti.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Anyways, it is known that Club Italia makes investments ranging from €25k and €50k taking a 10/15% stake in any startup.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform.

Led by Marco Paolieri, Maurizio Sambati and Ugo Vespier, Viralize provides brands and marketers with a platform to promote their videos and to distribute them through an advertising network. It allows them to execute a low budget campaign, and monitor it via a quasi real-time statistics including social sharing monitor, user engagement and feedback.
Website and blog owners can be part of the network, publish videos and earn money.
