Vehcon Raises $1.2M in Series A Funding

Vehcon, Inc., an Atlanta, GA-based connected vehicle services company, raised $1.2m in Series A funding.

The round was led by The AIM Group, an angel investment management group, with participation from Meade Sutterfield and Steve Chaddick.

The company intends to use the funds for product development, and scaling of the technology platform and team.

Led by co-founder and CEO Fred Blumer, co-founder and CTO Joe Fuller, VP Product Lior Weinstein and VP Data Randy Holmes, Vehcon provides vehicle data solutions that capture predictive data, such as odometer readings and area of operation, to help companies across the automotive ecosystem (auto insurance and vehicle services companies) to enable better targeting of offers and enhanced services and deliver them to consumers along the way.

Drivers are rewarded for sharing their information via smartphone technologies.
