Nimia Closed $500K Seed Funding

Nimia, a Seattle, WA-based platform that allows producers and consumers of digital video to discover, license, and distribute premium video, closed $500k in seed funding.

Backers included Thomas Nielsen, Brightcove SVP, former RealNetworks CEO and former Adobe Vice President for Digital Imaging, among other digital media veterans.

Founded by Zach McIntosh and Eric Harrison, Nimia provides producers with a video management and licensing platform to license media to clients, store, manage, and organize video assets and project files and collaborate with their team.

The company’s collection contains premium cinematography that has been licensed by ESPN, Red Bull, National Geographic, ABC, etc.
