Attendware Raises $1M in Series A Funding from .406 Ventures

Attendware, a Boston, MA-based provider of an event check in and auto name tag printing software, raised $1m in Series A funding from .406 Ventures.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its technology and sales efforts.

Led by CEO Greg Skloot and CTO Andrew D’Agostino, Attendware turns any laptop or tablet into a check-in kiosk to take attendance, auto generate name tags, send text alerts for VIP arrivals and manage real-time attendee data. The software was specifically created for events run by membership driven organizations, such as universities (Alumni Events, Classes & Seminars), non-profit institutions (Fundraising Events) and other sectors (Professional Conferences).
