Placester, a Cambridge, MA-based real-estate web publishing company, raised $2.5m in seed financing.
The round was led by Romulus Capital, with participation from John Landry, Jennifer Lum, and David Cohen and other 15 backers.
Co-founded by CEO Matt Barba and CTO Fred Townes, Placester provides agents, brokers, and owners with a suite of software applications and products to market and advertise their properties, find more prospects, and manage their relationships with all the people who impact their business.
Customers include Liveeastie.com, Prudential, among hundreds of companies.
