ICEdot Closes $1.03M Series A Financing

ICEdot, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based developer of a crash sensor attached to the safety helmet of sportsmen, closed a $1.03m Series A financing.

The round was led by a two investment funds managed by i2E Inc. ($300k from the StartOK Accelerator Fund and $200k from the OK Angel Sidecar Fund), with participation from Oklahoma angels.

Led by Chris Zenthoefer, CEO, ICEdot has developed a crash sensor attached to the safety helmet of cyclists, skiers, snow boarders, BMX bikers and other action sport participants to detect forces consistent with head injury and notify predesignated health and geolocation information over sms/text.

The company intends to use the capital to manufacture its crash sensors.
