Uppidy Raised $550k

Uppidy, a Washington, D.C.-based mobile sharing, search and storage technology company, raised an additional $550k in funding.

Backers included Band of Angels, CIT, New Vantage Group, Harvest Group Holdings, Fortify Ventures, and Paul Silber of Blu Venture Investors.

Led by Joshua M. Konowe, Co-Founder and CEO and Alex Rudnev, CTO, Uppidy provides solution to store, search or share text messages for free.
It allows users to store texts, update their status on Facebook or Twitter and create their own groups.

It is availble as a free mobile app and desktop solution for Android, BlackBerry and the iPhone.

In October 2012, the company had raised $50K in Funding.
