Backers included Initial Capital and Redpoint eVentures, Trindade Investimentos, Mountain do Brasil, e.Bricks, Demiurgus, Aceleratech, Kravla Partners, In Hsieh, and Cassio Spina.
Founded in 2008 by Diego Remus and Michael Nicklas, Startupi is the main source of information for and about startups in Brazil. It provides general technology news coverage and analysis, as well as produces local tech events.
