A written statement confirmed that Tokutek, a Lexington, MA-based provider of high-performance and agile database storage solutions, raised $1.5m in funding in November 2012.
The investors were not disclosed.
Co-founded by Michael A. Bender, Chief Scientist, Martín Farach-Colton, Chief Technology Officer, and Bradley C. Kuszmaul, Chief Architect, and led by John Partridge, President & Chief Executive Officer, Tokutek provides high-performance and agile database storage solutions. The company’s TokuDB is a storage engine that enables MySQL and MariaDB to scale from GBs to TBs.
Customers include Evidenzia, Swaylo, SWRI, Customers include Intent Media, and Limelight Networks.
Tokutek has offices in New York, NY.
