Aerohive Networks, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based provider of controller-less Wi-Fi and cloud-enabled enterprise networking, has received a $22.5m mezzanine Equity financing.
The round was led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), with participation from existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Northern Light and Four Rivers.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate product development.
Founded in 2006 and led by David Flynn, CEO, Aerohive Networks a provides a cloud-enabled, identity-based infrastructure that includes innovative Wi-Fi, VPN, branch routing and switching solutions. The company serves over over 5000 customers.
