ThisLife, a Palo Alto, CA-based company that operates a service for storing, organizing, viewing and sharing photo and video collections, has raised $2.75m in funding.
The round was led by Madrona Venture Group.
Co-founded by Andrea (CEO) and Matt Johnson (CTO), ThisLife allows customers to access their photos and videos from any device. Its software includes features like tagging, automated facial recognition, image enhancement and duplication detection.
The service also allows customers to join their account with a spouse or family members, so family photos can be pooled. Users have complete control over privacy and who sees which photos or content.
