Tadpoles Receives $50K investment from BFTP/SEP

Tadpoles, a Philadelphia, PA-based company that provides a web-based and mobile app technology to connect childcare and education providers to parents, has received a $50k investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP).

Led by co-founders Andrew Monroe and Bill McHugh, the company provides a real-time service that offers providers with attendance records, medical and emergency information, and schedule streamlining, and with photos and videos of their kids, behavior reports, reminders, etc.

The service is free for providers. Parents pay a monthly subscription fee for photos and video while notices are free.
