New Era Portfolio, an Austin, Texas-based fully integrated art company serving both the design industry and consumers, has received a $4m Series A investment from SSM Partners.
The company intends to use the funding for infrastructure build-out and management team expansion.
Founded in 2000 by CEO Joe Garcia, New Era Portfolio is comprised of three branded, wholly owned subsidiaries:
– GalleryDirect.com,
– New Era HD and
– New Era Walls.
New Era Portfolio is a large limited-edition fine art publisher, printmaker and artisan framer with over 12 million images from numerous genres of art, including abstract, contemporary, vintage and photography. The company, which works with more than 100 exclusive artists—including photographers, painters and mixed-media artists, has sold 3.2 million prints to retailers, design firms and individual consumers.
