The round was led by Accel Partners and Greylock Partners, with participation from SV Angel, Morado Ventures, Felicis Ventures, and WIN.

Led by CEO Eckart Walther, CardSpring is developing an API that lets developers add web and mobile applications like coupons, loyalty programs and digital receipts to payment cards.

The API is available in private beta starting today, but will be opening more broadly in the coming weeks.
