Amplio Filtration Group, an international Group active in water treatment and process filtration for sectors including mining, oil and gas, food and beverage and healthcare, has received a €16m investment from Ambienta I, a European private equity fund specialized in the environmental sector.

Founded in 2009 by London, UK-based Amplio Partners, an investment company run by CEO Riccardo Segat and Andrea Davi, Amplio Filtration has acquired four companies across three geographies.
The group currently includes:

- UK-based Puresep Filtration Technologies Ltd and Environmental Water Systems (services and systems for process filtration), and
- Italy-based Fluxa Filtri SpA (distributor of filters and consumables for a wide range of applications).

The investment will help Amplio Filtration accelerate its strategy in fostering cross-sell technologies
and expertise among the companies of the group and in making acquisitions in selected niche markets.

With the deal, Ambienta I has acquired a minority interest in the group, which currently employs 150 people in the U.S., United Kingdom and Italy.
