GreenSQL Closes $5.9M Series B Funding

GreenSQL, a Tel-Aviv, Israel-based provider of Unified Database Security solutions for the SMB/SME and enterprise markets, has closed a $5.9m Series B funding.

Originally of $3.8m, and then increased to $5.9m, the round was led by Rhodium and Atlantic Capital Partners, with participation from existing investor Magma Venture Capital, as well as Gandyr and 2BAngels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand GreenSQL to new markets and bring its solution into virtual and cloud architectures.

Led by CEO Amir Sadeh and David Maman, GreenSQL provides Unified Database Security solutions that deliver database security, caching, auditing and masking in a single package. Its MySQL firewall solution has over 100,000 copies downloaded in 198 countries.
