Red Commerce Acquired by Dunedin

Red Commerce, a UK-based supplier of SAP experts to international corporations and consultancies, has been acquired by private equity firm Dunedin for £44m.

Dunedin has backed the management buyout from the company’s previous owner Inflexion, which supported Red Commerce’s management team in developing the business over the last five years.

The investment will help the company extend its service offerings, consolidate in existing markets (UK, Germany, France, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Brazil) and further expand internationally (South America, USA and ASIA).
Red Commerce plans to expand its international office network in line with SAP’s growth plans. The company has just opened offices in Munich and Zurich in Europe and in Curitiba, Brazil in the Americas. It intends to establish an operation in USA before the end of 2011. In the longer term, Red Commerce will be assessing all opportunities in the other BRIC countries and elsewhere in ASIAPAC.

Led by CEO Richard Vercesi, the company provides recruitment and advisory services including Permanent recruitment, Contract/Freelance solutions, Executive Search & Selection, and Team Solutions.
