Giveo, a Boulder, CO-based hosted cause-marketing software and services company that helps organizations create, promote and measure cause-related marketing campaigns, has raised $1.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Access Venture Partners, with participation from Grotech Partners, Sentinel Trust and private investors.
Giveo’s marketing and engagement software platform creates targeted cause-related marketing campaigns, helps promote those campaigns and then measures their effectiveness to ensure the organizations are reaching the right audience with the right messages.
As stated by Ed Messman, Giveo, founder and CEO, the company intends to use the capital to continue to build out its offering.
Giveo has developed a SaaS-based marketing and campaign management platform that is designed to enable personalized cause campaigns, build brand and customer loyalty and create connections between organizations, their causes and their key audiences.
Since its launch in April 2010, Giveo has signed up more than 35 clients including the Food Family Farming Foundation (F3), who recently created a new public-private partnership that launched Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools (LMSB2S).
