Iptune Raises €1,3M From Inventure & Finnish Business Angels

Iptune, a Vantaa, Finland-based provider of mobile service management solutions, has raised €1,3m in a funding round led by Inventure.
Ex-Nokia executives, Pekka Vartiainen and Kari Ahola also participated.
The company, which specialises in software solutions to monitor and troubleshoot IP-based services in mobile data networks, will use the new capital to expand internationally.
Iptune’s Service Chain Assurance(TM) solution delivers gives operators information and capabilities to improve service usage, and addresses service issues enabling significant operational cost savings.
Founded in 2005 by a group of mobile network specialists with extensive experience in the telecom industry, the company also operates an office in Kuala Lumpur.
Vesa Haimi, one of the founder, is the current CEO of Iptune.

Last May, the company secured investment for young innovative enterprises from the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation.
