JackRabbit Systems, a Santa Fe, N.M.-based developer of on-line software for travel portal websites, has closed a $1.33m private equity funding round.The round was co-led by Kickstart Seed Fund and Sun Mountain Capital, with participation from undisclosed investors.
The capital infusion will support the company’s national growth plans.
JackRabbit Systems’ BookDirect™ search engine enables users/visitors to book rooms directly with the lodging properties, rather than an online travel agent. It is currently used by over 400,000 consumers a month and is embedded on over 200 city and state tourism websites.
