Muve Awarded $835,000 Small Business Technology Grant

Muve, Inc., a Minneapolis, MN-based designer, developer and supplier of new tools and technology for weight management in cooperation with Mayo Clinic, will receive a $835,000 Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The research grant will focus on validating Muve’s Gruve device.
Gruve is a personalized, electronic software platform which measures a range of physical activities in humans. When combined with other supporting elements, the Gruve Solution may improve the health and wellness of both adults and children.
James Levine, M.D. of Mayo Clinic will act as principle investigator.
Mayo Clinic, which holds an equity position in the company, and Dr. Levine have a financial interest in technology licensed to Muve.
