MokaFive Raises $21M in Series C Financing

MokaFive, a Redwood City, CA-based virtual desktop management company, has raised $21m in a Series C financing round.
The investment was led by NGEN Partners, with participation from existing investors Khosla Ventures and Highland Capital Partners.
The company’s flagship product, MokaFive Suite, is a Desktop-as-a-Service platform designed to make it easy for IT administrators to centrally create, deliver, secure and update a fully-contained virtual environment, called a LivePC, to thousands of users.
Unlike server hosted virtual desktop solutions, MokaFive executes locally on computing end points, providing offline access while reducing the need for large server infrastructures.
