Carduso Capital Groningen-NL has launched a €31m fund targeting innovation in the Northern Region of the Netherlands.
An initiative of the University of Groningen and the its academic hospital University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG), Carduso Capital will focus on financing seed and early-stage companies in the Life Sciences (with a particular focus on healthy ageing), energy and sustainable society sectors in the Groningen region.
Backed by the European Investment Fund, Investment Fund Groningen IFG; NOM and De Friesland Participation fund, the fund is also open to build syndicates with other investors.
