Cato Networks Secures $20M in Series A Funding

Cato Networks, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based network security company, secured $20m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Steve Krausz, a general partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), and Theresia Gouw, founder of Aspect Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to launch the software and hire new people.

Founded in 2015 by Shlomo Kramer and Gur Shatz, Cato Networks is advancing a SaaS based platform that will allow distributed, mobile and Cloud-based enterprises to deliver and manage network security.
The solution will be available to the general public in the first half 2016, and the company is currently accepting beta customers.
