SourceClear, a San Francisco, CA-based security company for software developers, secured $10m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from Storm Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its executive, engineering and research teams.
Led by Mark Curphey, founder and CEO, SourceClear provides a data-science and machine learning security platform that allows software developers to take care of open-source and third-party code. The software works inside a developer’s workflow and with a team’s existing tool-chain to enable visibility into the risks of using other people’s code in real-time as developers work.
The company also has an office in Singapore.
