Universal Avenue Raises $5M in Venture Capital Funding

universalavenueUniversal Avenue, a Stockholm, Sweden-based on-demand sales company, raised $5M in venture capital funding.

The round was led by Northzone, with participation from Salesforce Ventures along with existing investor MOOR.

The company intends to use the funds for product growth, sales and marketing and expansion of its European and global reach

Led by CEO and Co-Founder Johan Lilja, Universal Avenue provides a Sales-as-a-Service platform which gives businesses on-demand access to a direct sales team in any location around the world. It works via Universal Avenue Brand Ambassadors who join the platform as freelancers with flexibility of when and where they work, as well as which brands they choose to represent and earn money on the sales that they close.
The company also has local offices and teams in UK and Greece.
