Moov, a San Francisco, CA-based crowdfunded fitness device, secured $3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Banyan Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to integrate its sensor-based technology into even more fitness applications.
Led by CEO Meng Li, Moov is a wearable device that acts as a personal fitness coach, which tracks movements as users exercise and provides interactive coaching. Using a combination of sensors and A.I. technology, Moov makes personalized, real-time suggestions about what users can do to do improve.
