Chinese Mobile Company DotC United Closes $45M Series A Funding

DotC United, a Shangai, China-based international mobile company, completed a $45m Series A funding.

Backers included Banyan Capital, Chengwei Capital, Morningside Ventures, Bertelsmann Asia Investments and Lightspeed.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop mobile products and expand its user base.

Founded in 2015 by Yi Shi, CEO, DotC develops apps to improve mobile Internet user’s life and social experience globally. Its products include Swift Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi Sharing Platform), the Swift Locker (Android Lock Screen) and Flash Keyboard (Android Keyboard), which have more than 20 million daily active users each.
By the beginning of 2016, DotC United’s self-developed mobile apps have gained 200 million users worldwide.
