Health Catalyst Raises Additional $8M in Series B Round

Health Catalyst, a Salt Lake City-based provider of healthcare data warehousing solutions, raised an additional $8m in its Series B round.

In December 2012, the company had closed a $33m Series B Funding (read here).

Backers included Kaiser Permanente Ventures and CHV Capital.

The company intends to use the capital to invest in development, services, and people.

Led by Dan Burton, CEO, Health Catalyst provides a an agile, healthcare-specific data warehousing platform that enables hospitals and health systems of any size to manage patient populations under new care models. The company’s technology is used at Allina Health, Indiana University Health, MultiCare Health System, North Memorial Health Care, Providence Health & Services, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and Texas Children’s Hospital.
