Netretail Holding B.V., an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based company operating MALL.CZ, an online retailer that covers Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, has raised €10m in financing from Intel Capital and MCI, through its MCI.TechVentures.
Founded in 2000, MALL.CZ is continuously developing its range of offered products, wich include RTV, photographic equipment, computers and computer accessories, sporting goods, articles for home and garden items for animals and toys.
The company will use the funds to expand in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
Netretail Holding has more than 1,000,000 registered customers and a daily visitors rate well above 100,000 users. In the last fiscal year (ended 31st March, 2010), the consolidated revenue of the group reached US$100m (ex-VAT).
