Sensible, a San Francisco, CA-based tools developer company that make documents as accessible to software as APIs, raised $6.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Engineering Capital, and Clocktower Technology Ventures. They joined Jack Altman and Eric Koslow, the co-founders of Lattice, Spike Lipkin and Gordon Wintrob, the co-founders of Newfront, Chad Nitschke, president of Vouch Specialty, and Gurjeet Singh, co-founder of Oma Robotics, as well as many other angels, to bring total funding to date over $8MM.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance SenseML and its orchestration platform, and expand its configuration library to thousands of document layouts.
CO-Founded by Josh Lewis and Ming Lu, Sensible provides a document orchestration platform for developers. The system makes accessing the data in documents as easy as calling an API. Dozens of companies, across insurance, logistics, health care, real estate, and financial services use it to make their operations efficient by directly connecting documents to software.
