Stage11 Raises €5M in Seed Funding

Stage11

Stage11, a Paris, France and Los Angeles, CA-based immersive music experience startup, raised €5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Otium Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to onboard strategic hires, sign key artist and brand partnerships and build its technology platform.

Founded by CEO Jonathan Belolo, Jean-Philippe Braud, Gregory Dhonner, and Mani Nordine, Stage11 is a startup reimagining music for the metaverse. Its interactive music experiences invite fans to live inside the performances and musical worlds of their favorite artists. This forms the core of a new music metaverse that will give artists, brands, creators, and fans tools to co-create and share unique digital experiences & content. These worlds combine immersive gameplay sequences, lifelike performances, cinematic narratives and exclusive digital collectibles. Fans can not only discover and collect but actually use these interactive NFTs to create and share unique personalized content and even perform with their favorite artists.

Stage11 can be accessed on desktop and mobile, playing to the strengths of both platforms. While desktop offers a more interactive high-definition experience, mobile focuses on mixed reality experiences and content creation as well as social interaction. Both platforms merge into one seamless user experience.

The company, which has a distributed team of 34 designers, engineers, artists and business leads spread across 10 countries on 3 continents, has signed key partnerships with Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Snoop Dogg, Ne-Yo, Akon, Salif Gueye and the Institut Français de la Mode.

Stage11’s first music experience is set to debut in 2022.
