Milanoo.com, a China-based ecommerce retailer and wholesaler, has received a “multi-million dollar” investment from Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its product supply system, optimize the online shopping platform and recruit business and marketing professionals. Expansion projects include exploring opportunities with additional Chinese apparel manufactures and brands.
Founded in July of 2008, Milanoo.com supplies fine jewelry, Cosplay items and wigs, women’s lingerie, formal wear, wedding attire, shoes and handbags. It also offers men’s fashion and accessories, bedding, kids’ clothing and toys, housewares and yoga essentials.
The business currently serves customers in over 180 countries around the world in seven of the most popular languages, including English, Spanish and French.
