Veson Nautical Receives Growth Investment from Pamlico Capital

Veson Nautical, a Boston, Massachusetts-based provider of commercial maritime operations software and services, received a growth investment from Pamlico Capital.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate core product innovation, as well as to expand into other closely related adjacencies.

Founded in 2003 by CEO John Veson and Eva Douzinas and also led by COO Sean Riley, Veson Nautical provides maritime operations software and services. Its flagship integrated solutions (IMOS and Veslink) form the technology platform for buyers and sellers of marine freight, and create a community of users through which to collaborate and share mission voyage and vessel data, to optimally manage chartering, operations, financials, and risk.
With offices in Boston, London, and Singapore, Veson now serves over 8,000 users at more than 200 clients.
