SugarCRM, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an intelligence-driven sales automation platform, acquired sales-i, a Solihull, England, UK-based provider of a revenue intelligence solution.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, SugarCRM will improve business-to-business (B2B) sales performance by delivering AI-powered revenue intelligence that leverages the data of a business’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and CRM.

The combination will create a combined company of more than 550 employees worldwide.

Led by CEO Paul Black, sales-i provides a revenue intelligence solution designed to make every sales conversation more insight-led and profitable. With enhanced data and analytics, businesses can gain a comprehensive overview of their insights, from identifying new or missed opportunities to detecting changes in customer buying behavior.

Led by CEO Craig Charlton, SugarCRM offers software solutions that help marketing, sales, and service teams reach peak efficiency through better automation, data, and intelligence so they can achieve a real-time, reliable view of each customer. Its platform provides technology in the sales automation, marketing automation, and customer service fields with one goal in mind: to make the hard things easier.
