Neurable Raises $13M in Funding

Neurable, a Boston, MA-based neurotechnology company, raised $13M in funding.

Backers included Ultratech Capital Partners, TRAC, Pace Ventures, and Metaplanet.

The company intends to use the funds to build of its platform, giving companies and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) access to non-invasive BCI technology and making it widely available to consumer audiences. This includes expanding its product portfolio, reference designs, algorithms, and enabled systems to include earbuds, helmets, and various head-worn devices that will help optimize human performance.

Led by CEO Dr. Ramses Alcaide, Neurable is a neurotechnology company that specializes in the development of AI-powered tools for brain signal translation and brain-computer interface technology. Empowered by patented signal processing, developed through research across labs and institutions, and advanced by a scientific and expert product team, its platform enables high-performance brain-computer interface in everyday devices.

With over $30m raised since its founding, the company is working with its licensing partnership network to make neurotechnology a reality, including through the upcoming launch of the Neurable AI-powered MW75 Neuro headphones.

Also following Series A, Neurable partnered with Air Force Research Lab’s 711 Human-Performance Wing to validate its technology and explore how it could be used to improve human performance. Building on this collaboration, the company secured $5M in contracts from the Department of Defense to further develop this human technology to support soldier health and performance.
