LottieFiles, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an animation design platform, received a strategic investment from Webflow Ventures and Figma Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts.
Led by CEO K. Minglani and CTO Nattu Adnan, LottieFiles provides an animation design platform. The company recently introduced the Lottie Creation tool, a web-based motion design tool specially designed for creating Lottie animations. Key plugins and integrations also include an app for Canva.
In total, the company has raised over $47m USD, has over 9 million users and 280,000+ teams using its motion design platform. The current list of investors includes Adobe Fund for Design, Microsoft Ventures, Automattic, Square Peg Capital, and other marquee names.
