Shifty Eye Games, a Calgary, Alberta, Canada-based independent game development studio, received CAD$788.5K in funding from the Government of Canada and Canadian Heritage through the Creative Export Canada program, Export-Ready Stream.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO and Founder Tuncer Deniz, Shifty Eye Games is an independent game development studio which has close to 30 games on the Apple Arcade and App store. It is currently working on an unannounced original game for multiple platforms set for release in 2025.
The company has also appointed Vikas Gupta, Justin Ratushniak, and Bungie founder Alexander Seropian to its board of advisors.
