The National Thoroughbred League, a Las Vegas, NV-based horse racing company, received an investment from DCB Sports.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to reinforce its position as a player in the world of thoroughbred racing.
Co-founded by Robert Daugherty and Randall Lane, The National Thoroughbred League (NTL) is creating a team-based professional sports league, by consistently and safely running horses.
Commenting on the news, Robert Daugherty said: “We are thrilled that the National Thoroughbred League will be adding four additional franchises for the 2024 season. We’re announcing the new teams and schedule in June. This expansion, with the specific teams announced in June, is a direct result of the tremendous support and confidence we have received from our investors, fans, and the racing community.”
