Medulance, a New Delhi, India-based emergency healthcare services company, raised $3m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Alkemi Growth Capital with participation from Dexter Capital, Aman Gupta, and Namita Thapar.

The company intends to use the funds to increase its presence across the country while focusing on emergency management technology to solve problems in the execution of services en masse. This includes a further reduction in emergency call answering time and emergency services response time in more than 500 cities in India.

Led by Pranav Bajaj, CEO, and Ravjot Singh Arora, COO, Medulance provides emergency medical services in India with a fleet of 10,000 ambulances and 1000 health experts. From stationed ambulances to 5G smart medical clinics, the company offers comprehensive solutions for corporate and public healthcare needs. Medulance recently launched India’s first 5G-enabled ‘Smart Medical Room’ in Gurgaon, setting a new standard for corporate wellness by integrating advanced diagnostics and telemedicine. The company has also provided medical support at events like the IPL and ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

In the next 15-18 months, Medulance plans to expand to over 1000 cities in the country, prioritizing patient safety and quality of care in every region. The company also aims to establish public-private partnerships to extend its services to an additional 3-4 states in the coming years.
