StepsConnect, a Milan, Italy-based recruitment platform for companies to quickly find qualified candidates, raised €1m in funding.
Backers included 40Jemz Ventures, Eden Ventures by IAG, Maggioli Ventures, Moffu Labs, GĔNĔRAS Corporate, Moonstone Fund, KF-Invest and Enzima12, as well as business angels such as Emiliano Maria Cappuccitti, Gianpaolo Naef, Massimo Cioffi, Dino Caprioni, and Massimo Pagnetti.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach internationally.
Co-founded by Matteo Trovò, Anton Morale and Nicolò Caruzzo, Stepsconnect provides a multi-channel digital platform that helps companies’ HR teams quickly find qualified GenZ and Millennial candidates. The platform is based on a matching algorithm between job post and candidate which improves the quality of applications analyzed by recruiters, making adverts more attractive, allowing candidates to search for jobs efficiently.
Candidates can sign up for free and receive offers profiled specifically for their profile.
StepsConnect focuses on the retail, large-scale retail, hospitality and fashion vertical sectors. The company collaborates with over 60 companies including Roadhouse, Mediaset, Gruppo Vegè, Rinascente, and Autoguidovie.
