DTEX Systems Raises $50M in Series E Funding

DTEX Systems, a San Jose, CA-based insider risk management company, raised $50M in Series E funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $138M, was led by CapitalG. In conjunction with the funding, James Luo, partner at CapitalG who will be joining the DTEX board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its U.S. engineering team and grow its go-to-market (GTM) operations globally.

Led by Marshall Heilman, CEO, Rajan Koo, CTO, and Dave Salverson, CFO, DTEX empowers organizations to prevent data loss and support a workforce by stopping insider risks from becoming insider threats. Its InTERCEPT™ platform consolidates the essential elements of data loss prevention, user behavior analytics, and user activity monitoring in a single platform to detect and mitigate insider risks well before data loss occurs. Combining AI/ML with behavioral indicators, the company enables proactive insider risk management at scale without sacrificing employee privacy or network performance.

To support its growth, DTEX expanded its C-suite with the appointment of Marshall Heilman as CEO, Rajan Koo as CTO, and Dave Salverson as CFO.
