Cathedral Studios, a Colchester, UK-based indie game studio, closed a seed funding round of $6.66m.
The round was led by Arca with participation from Hartmann Capital, LiquidX, IVC, and 6th Man & Spartan.
The company intends to use the funds for substantial enhancements to its talent roster.
Led by Toby Saunders, CEO, Cathedral Studios is the studio behind The Bornless, which, set in the enigmatic town of Farmouth, immerses players in a world where demonic entities and human realms collide. The game’s new mode, ‘The Ritual,’ offers a blend of extraction, horror survival, and strategy, set against a backdrop rich in lore and terror.
