Airnguru, a Santiago, Chile-based provider of pricing intelligence and execution, fare management, and price automation solutions for airlines, raised USD$1M in Pre-Series A funding.
The round saw participation from a group of angel investors formed by senior executives, board members, family offices, and entrepreneurs.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its client base and achieve operational break-even by the last quarter of 2024.
Founded in 2015 and led by CEO Sergio Mendoza, Airnguru provides SaaS (software-as-a-service) pricing intelligence and execution, fare management, and price automation solutions to some of the world’s largest carriers. Its configurable pricing workflow streamlines and automates processes from inception to completion, ensuring a cohesive and efficient pricing strategy. Its value proposition is based on a cloud-native tech stack encompassing Big Data, automation, Machine Learning, A/B testing, simulation, and optimization. Its solutions are used by global carriers Qatar Airways and British Airways (IAG), along with a roster of airlines including Avianca, Copa Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Finnair, and SKY Airline.
