Spacegoods Raises £2.5M in Seed Funding

Spacegoods, a London, UK-based wellness brand specialising in functional mushrooms and nootropics, raised £2.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Five Seasons Ventures, with participation from Redrice Ventures, Slingshot Ventures and G-FUND.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth, expand its product portfolio, and broaden its customer base.

Led by CEO and Founder Matthew Kelly, Spacegoods offers its flagship product, ‘Rainbow Dust,’ which is a powder blend designed to enhance energy, relaxation, mood, and overall well-being—similar to coffee but without the crash and jitters. The formulation incorporates adaptogen mushrooms and nootropics such as ashwagandha and lion’s mane, embodying Spacegoods’ commitment to enhancing customer wellness.

In just 20 months since launch, Spacegoods has attracted over 75,000 customers.

Commenting on the news, Matthew Kelly said: “Spacegoods emerged as the solution to health and wellness challenges I experienced building previous companies. I explored the benefits of functional mushrooms and natural adaptogens for my own health, and this led to the creation of Spacegoods and our first product, Rainbow Dust. An all-in-one blend that helps focus and provides an energy boost similar to coffee but free from anxiety, jitters and crashes. We want to help more people to feel their best through the benefits of functional mushrooms.”
