Peripass Raises €7.5M in Funding

Peripass, a Ghent, Belgium-based SaaS startup digitally organising truck movements for logistics sites, raised €7.5M in funding.

Backers included the Belgian fund “Welvaartsfonds” and Groep Van Overstraeten.

The company intends to use the funds to build a global partner network and to strengthen its existing commercial teams in France, the UK and Germany.

Founded in 2016 by CEO Leander Naessens and Youri Van der Zwalmen, Peripass provides industrial and logistics companies, including Danone, Kellogg’s, Vandemoortele, Saint-Gobain, and ArcelorMittal, witha SaaS platform to manage the entire flow of trucks entering and exiting their premises. Today, Peripass operates in 13 countries and already generates more than 75% of its turnover abroad. With offices across the Benelux, DACH, France, and the United Kingdom, the company plans to grow into a team of over 100 employees by 2024 and to equip 1,000 sites with yard management software by 2030.
