WealthKernel, a London, UK-based provider of digital investment solutions, raised £6M in Series A extension funding.
The round was led by ETFS Capital with participation from XTX Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand across the European market.
Led by CEO Karan Shanmugarajah, WealthKernel provides investment, savings and wealth infrastructure to help businesses build and offer functionalities in flexible and cost-effective ways. It offers an investment infrastructure, over API, for companies looking to allow digital wealth and investment services. From ISAs to GIAs and SIPPs – it helps customers easily launch financial products for retail clients.
Commenting on the news, Karan Shanmugarajah said: “This funding comes at a time of rapid growth for WealthKernel. We have been expanding our services rapidly over the last few months, with our newest entry into the US equities market. The new funding will help fuel our commitment to strengthening our market presence and continue to bring innovative solutions to the wealth management industry.“
