Firsty, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based technology startup which specializes in mobile connectivity, raised €1.1M in Pre-Seed funding.
Backers included Marcel Smits, Godert Vinkesteijn, and Patrick Stal.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its development efforts.
Founded by ex-Adyen Technical Product Managers Vince Vissers and Gauthier Thierens, Firsty provides a mobile app that offers travelers instant access to cross-border mobile data connectivity without ever having to switch (e)SIMs or data plans. The beta version of the app will be launched across Europe, UK, Turkey, Switzerland, and the USA in January 2024.
