Turngate, an Elliott City, MD-based provider of a cybersecurity solution offering IT and cybersecurity professionals insights into user activity, raised $5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Paladin Capital Group.
The company intends to use the funds to build out and scale its solution for commercial customers.
Led by Bruce Potter, Founder and CEO, Trungate provides a platform that allows analysts to visualize complex log data, reducing response time and enhancing confidence in conclusions. Its technology reduces the uncertainty IT and security teams face when determining what users are doing with their systems, checking their auditing activity and validating permissions. The system also eliminates deciphering differences associated with differences in content, format and accessibility across organizations.
Turngate incorporates audit records from SaaS and IaaS services, providing a swift way to recognize activity, system use, and security concerns in the workplace.
