Syrup, a NYC-based provider of AI-powered planning, buying, and inventory optimization solutions for omnichannel commerce, raised $17.5M in funding.

The round was led by Accel Partners with participation from existing investors Gradient Ventures and 1984 Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations, growing its team across engineering, product, and sales, and its business reach.

Led by CEO Faherty Brand, Syrup is an AI-powered platform that simplifies inventory buying, allocation, replenishment, and rebalancing to improve revenue and operational efficiency. Its solution connects inventory data with a mix of historical, transactional, and real-time data so that planning teams can make optimal decisions with confidence.

It is used by brands like Faherty, Desigual, and Reformation.
